The Difference Between Public Molds And Private Molds
The public mold and the private mold refer to the molds, but the ownership and characteristics of the two molds are very different.
The public mold is public. After the manufacturer opened the mold, anyone can buy the products produced by this mold. Generally speaking, a set of mold is divided into: mold structure, forming parts, pouring system, cooling system, ejection system, and exhaust system. 
Private mold means that the mold is developed by certain manufacturer, and the copyright is owned by itself. Others cannot buy the products produced by this mold. The mold is not fixed.
The advantage of the public mold is that the product is common in the market, and the mold is common to everyone. It has a wide range of use, low price and stable quality.
The disadvantage is that the it is not creative. Product appearances and functions remain the same all the time.
The characteristic of private mold is that manufacturers with good strength can open molds by themselves, and the copyright is owned by themselves, or they can buy mold copyrights from other companies. 
The advantage is that the creativity is relatively novel, the appearance is more attractive, and the functions are more abundant.
